What I did, and didn't, do this spring

First, here's what I didn't do:

Who wants to do housework when the weather is finally nice! Even though we live in a condo I decided I just couldn't be stopped from making "our yard" look a little nicer than it typically does.

Last fall I planted tulips. When they came up, I mulched along the trees and flowers.

There's a spot under our balcony stairs that has always been dead and ugly. This spring I bought pond stones to cover it up. Safer for little feet, and prettier.

I may not have a garden, but that's not going to stop me from gardening! I planted three tomato plants, cilantro, basil, chives, two potted plants and three hanging flower plants. Hooray for spring!

(I actually wrote this post more than a month ago; its summer now and things are growing nicely! And that includes the pile of papers, I'm sorry to say.)

My ugly photos would be of the yard. I'll come do your papers if you come and do my garden. Deal?

I have that pile of papers on my desk too.

And I'll have you know that I have a huge yard and only one part of it looks 1/2 as nice as your spots. I'm feeling a little unmotivated.

Kudos to you for doing that. More green in the world is a great thing!

I have the papers too. Where do other people put their papers? I just don't know.

Also, I have weeds. Lots of weeds.

Seems like you are doing great prioritizing. :) Garden and boys! Yay!
